Fashion Exhibition

Hello Beauties!

On June 16th, I had the pleasure of being the lead Makeup Artist for Bryan Osburn’s LA NUIT ENCHANTEE Fashion Exhibition. It took place at the luxurious  Artspace 8 Gallery in the 900 N Michigan building here in Chicago,IL. And when I tell you it was gorgeous… OMG! It was gorgeous! I can’t explain how awesome it feels to watch the progression of your work. I’ve been a professional artist for about 4 years now and the more I work, the more I see my skill set improve. So, this blog is dedicated to all of my clients and viewers with a dream… Keep growing and learning, no matter how hard the obstacle may be. Just go for it!

Here are a few photos of my work, from the lens of photographer David Shepherd!

Wet N Wild Brush Review

Hello Beauties!

Are you seeking makeup brushes without the expensive cost?

Wet N Wild has the most modern set of brushes I’ve ever seen from a drug store brand. They have a sleek white handle with soft white and pink bristles. These brushes are available on their website http://www.wetnwildbeauty.com. I purchased 7 out of the 11 offered with prices ranging from $.99 to $2.99. While preparing for three events in one day, I brought this set along as a backup. Little did I know, that they would work just as well as some of the more expensive brushes in my kit. However, my negative comments are toward the quality of the bigger brushes… Specifically the Powder and Large Stipple Brushes. I find them both to be a bit flimsy. The Powder Brush isn’t dense enough and the Large Stipple doesn’t hold much (powder) product. I’ve yet to use the Large Stipple with a cream or liquid product, so it may work better in those instances.

Overall, I think this was a great addition to my makeup kit and encourage others to give them a try. Especially my everyday women and beginner MUAs.
